The most beautiful discovery true friends make is that they can grow separately without growing apart. -- Elisabeth Foley
True story.

I have been friends with these girls even before we had our menstruation. We went to the same grade school together but we did not all go to the same high school and college. We have very different personalities and dreams. We shared a lot of firsts. There were a lot of good times but there were also some not very good times. It's all good.

We grew into our different persons but remained close friends. It's amazing how we maintained the friendship. It's been 14-15 years already and we are still the same girls talking about everything and laughing about stuff. Nothing much has changed except for the fact that we are older and have different priorities. We no longer fuss about each other's crush. LOL Though we still have an ongoing bet on who will have a boyfriend last.

We started out young and innocent and now we are in the next chapter of our lives. Some are getting married, some having big career changes, and some are travelling the world. We live our own lives but never forget each other. I know we will be each other's bridesmaids and godmothers of our future kids. I'm holding on to this friendship cos I know when I'm old and gray, they will be the ones  to visit me and play Mahjong or poker or whatever floats our boat. >

We had lunch today at The Old Spaghetti House. Fun! I had a blast! Thanks, gurrrrlsss.
